Jimi Hendrix owned and worn brown and tan beaded necklace.

Provenance: From the Mike Quashie Collection

Matthew "Michael" Quashie was known as the Limbo King and was an early champion of the young Hendrix, often letting him crash at his Bedford St. apartment in Greenwich Village, New York City, which became known as “Jimi’s Hideaway” after Hendrix’s death. It is believed that it was Quashi who influenced Hendrix's "voo-doo" and fire aspects of his persona

Hendrix personally gave this Sash to Quashie, along with various other items throughout their friendship.

Size: Approximately 17 in length, with clasp.

Condition: Very Good.

Authentication: Letter from Mike Quashie and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
