Jimi Hendrix Owned & Worn Handmade Beaded Talisman Necklace with Pendant.
This rare, one-of-a-kind, handmade, beaded talisman necklace, with a sun shaped metal pendant with bangles hanging from it was owned and worn by Jimi Hendrix. Jimi obtained the necklace during his first visit to Great Britain and gave it to Noel Redding soon after they met and formed The Jimi Hendrix Experience. The necklace is comprised of an array of beads, bangles, and other colorful adornments. Noel Redding gave the necklace to author Geoffrey Giuliano when he was staying with him in Lockport, New York, while he was researching a book to be written. Giuliano had already collaborated on one book "The Illustrated Jimi Hendrix" and was then working on a subsequent book with Michael Fragnito of Viking Studio Books (the second book was not published).
Condition: Good, vintage condition. The sun-shaped metal with bangles is currently detached from the necklace (as can be seen here) but can easily be re-attached.
Authentication: Certificate of Authenticity from The Rock Mark, Beverly Hills, CA, signed by author Geoffrey Giuliano, and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
