Steppenwolf frontman John Kay signed “Artistry in Sound Award, presented to Steppenwolf by Ampex Stereo Tapes In Recognition of Their Major Contribution to the World of Music May 12. 1970".
The award plaque was originally sold by Kay to benefit the Maue Kay Foundation.
