John Lennon Hand Drawn & Signed Self-Portrait Given to Pattie Boyd.
John Lennon hand-drew and signed this self-portrait, giving it to Pattie Boyd on her birthday in 1968 when the Beatles were visiting the Maharishi in India. John wrote: "Happy Birthday Pattie from John and Yoko." Pattie was married to George Harrison at the time (she would later infamously leave Harrison for Eric Clapton).
Dimensions: Diameter is approximately 5.5 in in diameter.
Condition: Overall very good vintage condition with some wear due to age.
Authentication: Patti Boyd signed letter of provenance on her personal notecard stationery and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity. This piece has been authenticated by Beatles handwriting expert Frank Caiazzo, and if high bidder wants a letter from Mr. Caiazzo, Gotta Have Rock and Roll will assist them in obtaining it.
