John Lennon has signed and inscribed with hand drawing the inner sleeve of this Beatles “Let It Be” album in black felt tip pen. Lennon has written “To Astrid mit lieber John Lennon” with self-caricature, the year “76” and a hand sketch of a sheep standing on a cloud with the sun peeking out from behind. The sleeve was additionally inscribed by the recipient, “Tante Astrid” (Aunt Astrid) to her nephew David, in 1980. Astric was a teacher at the Berlitz School in New York City in 1980. The Lennon signature, inscription, caricature and date is large measuring approximately 5.5 x 3 and the sketch of the sheep, cloud and sun measures approximately 3.5 x 3. Very good condition, vinyl included.
