This pair of Christmas cards sent out by John Lennon and Yoko Ono are each written out, signed and inscribed by Yoko on their behalf. Each card is accompanied by its envelope written out in a different hand. One card measures 5.75" square and pictures a black and white photograph taken of the famous couple in 1980 by photographer Jack Mitchell. The inside sentiment is written out entirely in Yoko’s hand, “Merry Xmas & Happy New Year, John Yoko & Sean” in black pen. The second card measures 5" X 7” and pictures a John Lennon artwork on front of an abstract rendering of Yoko, Sean and himself with his facsimile signature and opening sentiment “All we are saying is,” and on the inside “Let’s give peace a chance, Happy Christmas.” Yoko has written, “To Peter & Susan & Family, Love, Yoko & Sean & Family,” in black pen. Excellent condition. Estimate: $200 - $300.
