This John Lennon and Yoko Ono circa 1972 "Let Them Stay In" pin was owned by John Lennon and given directly by John to famed music producer Phil Spector. The pin was created to support Lennon's effort to "stay in" the U.S. during a period beginning in 1972 when then President Nixon was doing all that he could to get him deported because of his political leanings. Nixon's fear of Lennon's support of George McGovern led an all-out effort by the administration to deport Lennon which lasted five years. The pin measures 2" in diameter. Estimate: $600-$800.
