Joni Mitchell has drawn this detailed picture of Graham Nash in red and blue felt tip pen on 11 x 14 artist's sketch paper, ripped from the pad. The drawing shows Nash, who was Mitchell's boyfriend for a time, sitting at a table piled with books in front of a fireplace, pen in hand. On the mantelpiece is a bouquet of roses. This was most likely drawn in the house that Mitchell and Nash shared for a brief time that was the inspiration for the Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young famous song "Our House" which was written by Nash. The "vase" and the "fireplace" referred to in the first three lines of the song, "I'll light the fire, You put the flowers in the vase, That you bought today" figure prominently in the picture. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
