Julius Erving was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993 and was also named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time team.
Offered here is one of Dr. J’s original 1989-1990 jerseys which was issued to him.
The jersey was given to a close friend of Erving who also got a very personalized autograph.
On the front left tail is the MacGregor Sand-Knit manufacturer's tag size "40". Adjacent is the "Designed & Tailored" tag and two box tags reading "89" and "2" LB". Across the chest reads "SIXERS". The player number "6" appears on the front and back all in white on blue tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "ERVING" in white tackle twill.
Erving signed the front of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription "Allen, Good Luck & God Bless Your Friend Julius Erving" and in our opinion rates a strong 8
This jersey is properly tagged and shows minor wear.
