What we have here is indeed, Ace Frehley’s personally owned and heavily toured KISS and solo year Steve Carr Prototype Number One UFO Rocket Shooter Guitar. Ace played this guitar night after night with KISS on multiple KISS tours and during his solo years here beyond the Farewell Tour. Images and videos of Ace playing and shooting this guitar off are endless. This model still has the original rear headstock harness that held the rocket firework mechanism along with various other tour played markings. The guitar is in great working condition and plays and sounds like you would expect, full on KISS! The guitar was obtained directly from Ace Frehley to our consignor- who has unequivocally built the greatest Ace Frehley collection in KISS-STORY, and whose name has been associated with far too many of Ace’s personal tour played guitars to note here. The guitar comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Ace Frehley to our consignor with matching shipping documentation from Ace to our consignor. Ace only played one UFO guitar with KISS and this is it. Ace’s current UFO is one of the remaining five that Steve Carr later built that was gifted to Ace in approximately 2017 by our consignor to replace the one you see here.
