Used as a "test match" for Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium, the site for the opening game and final of the 2018 World Cup, the Nov. 11, 2017 match between Argentina and Russia was won by the Argentinians, thanks to a late goal by Sergio Aguero. The added brilliance of Lionel Messi enabled Argentina to maintain a 70% possession rate against the hosts.
Presented is a match-issued Argentina primary jersey by Lionel Messi from that Nov. 11, 2017 friendly match between Argentina and Russia. This Adidas jersey has the famed sky blue vertical stripes (3) on the front and back, with white sleeves and black Adidas stripes on the shoulders. Messi's number "10" is screen-printed in black on the front and the back. The front of the jersey also has the Adidas logo in black on the upper-right, the "AFA" logo embroidered in gold, black, and sky blue on the upper-left, and the game information (Argentina flag VS Russia flag 11.11.2017 ESTADIO OLIMPICO LUZHNIKI MOSCU" in black on the upper-center chest. The back has "MESSI" screen-printed in black. The right front tail has an "adidas 2018 AUTHENTIC" patch.
