From the Eddie Hammer Elvis Presley Collection, a 4 x 4 section of a bottom bedsheet taken from Elvis Presley's bed at the Hilton Hotel in Huntsville, Alabama on Labor Day, September 6, 1976. The sheet was taken off the bed by the executive housekeeper, folded and put aside. Later, it was given to the "For the Heart" Elvis Presley Fan Club to be used to raise money for the club and the charity. Comes with a letter of provenance from the executive housekeeper on Huntsville Hilton Hotel letterhead, dated April 28, 1977. Eddie Hammer was a writer for Goldmine and Discoveries magazines, he was an Elvis expert and was a paid guest speaker at many of the Elvis conventions in Memphis and all over the world. This piece has an amazing provenance from someone who was also considered an expert. It is being sold as is with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity stating it is from the Eddie Hammer Collection.
