Marvin Gaye owned and worn yellow and brown plaid jacket. Marvin gifted the jacket to famed booking and promotional manager Irwin Pate, who worked with Marvin Gaye, and is perhaps best known for his work and close friendship with James Brown from the late 1960's until the early 1980's. Very good condition. The jacket comes with a letter of provenance from Irwin Pate's widow on "James Brown Productions" letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
