Among what is certainly one of the earliest signatures of the historic pop band composed of members of the Jackson family, known as the “Jackson 5” is this rare 8 X 10 color publicity photograph signed on the verso by a young Michael Jackson and performing siblings Latoya Jackson, Janet Jackson, Tito Jackson and another simply signed “Love, J-5.” Vintage signed in green fiber tip marker. First formed in 1964 as “The Jackson Brothers,” performing in clubs and talent shows, they signed with Motown records in 1968 where they were the first group to debut with four consecutive number one hits on the “Billboard Hot 100.” Selling more than 100 million records worldwide, the Jackson 5 is one of the bestselling bands of all-time. The Jackson’s went on to launch solo careers with Michael’s launching his in 1971 with the release of “Got to Be There,” and eventually becoming one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th Century often referred to as the “King of Pop.” 10 X 8.
