Hall of Famer, Luke Appling signed this jersey. During his 20 year career, Appling was a 7x All Star and a 2x AL Batting champion. Appling was not a power hitter, hitting just 45 homeruns over the course of his career. However, he retired with an impressive .310 batting average. He interrupted his playing career in 1944 to serve in the military. After his retirement in 1950, Appling became a manager for many years. Good condition.
