Mays was a 24x All Star, 2x NL MVP, 12 Gold Glove winner, NL Rookie of the Year, 1x NL Batting Champion, 4x NL Home Run leader and 1x World Series champion. Over his near 30 year professional playing career, he accumulated 660 Home Runs, 3,283 Hits, 1,903 Runs Batted In, 338 Stolen bases and an impressive .302 batting average. Mays' career statistics and his longevity has led to speculation as him being the greatest five-tool player of all time.
