This is Elvis Presley’s owned and worn black star sapphire and diamond ring. A breathtaking nugget still with the black sapphire surrounded by diamond and sapphire points. Elvis had a preference for wearing sapphires because they were supposed to bring favor, make peace between and protect against envy. Elvis believed that the wearing of sapphire jewelry signified generosity, good manners, wisdom and noble thoughts. Accompanied by a photograph of Elvis wearing the ring and a letter of provenance from Elvis’s close friend and ranch foreman Alan Fortas.
