Pioneering actor and comedian Ed Wynn has signed this 8 X 10 black and white photograph “Sincerely Ed Wynn,” in black fountain pen. Wynn is pictured in character from his Texaco sponsored 1930’s radio show “The Fire Chief.” Beginning with his career in vaudeville in 1903, Wynn went on to direct and produce many Broadway shows and during the later part of his career assuming comic and dramatic roles in film including being nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for is role in “The Diary of Anne Frank” (1959). Very good condition with a small half-inch tear in the top border. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
