A 1993 black Paul Reed Smith guitar owned and played by Chris Cornell with the band Soundgarden. Serial number 418731. Accompanied by a typed, signed letter from Chris Bond stating that this 1993 black Paul Reed Smith Guitar was owned and used by Cornell and given to Bond together with a number of other guitars. Bond states that he was close friends with Cornell and they used to play music together. The provenance of ownership and association to Cornell was documented in a King County, Washington, Superior Court declaration, from Cornell’s dispute with Susan Silver (his ex-wife and manager), to show the artistic value of his guitars, as he sought to retain ownership. Shows good wear and was the guitar was used throughout his 1994-1995 tours with Soundgarden. Comes with a letter of provenance from Chris Bond, the original sales receipt from American Music to Soundgarden, an Appraisal Letter from Emerald City Guitars and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
