Elvis Presley owned and engraved silver cake server that was likely given to Elvis as a wedding gift. Elvis's last name "Presley" is engraved on the handle. From the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager Irwin Pate. For over four decades Irwin Pate promoted talent all over the United States and internationally. During his career he and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers, including Elvis Presley. Irwin knew Elvis and his manager Colonel Tom Parker. He worked with Elvis and the Colonel several times over the years before Elvis passed away. After Elvis passed away the Colonel gifted Irwin some articles that belonged to Elvis knowing that Irwin was a collector. According to the Colonel, this cake serving knife had come from one of Elvis's California homes and was possibly a wedding gift. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Clarine Pate on Pate Booking Agency letterhead as well as a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
