Tina Turner original Jack Robinson special edition Chromogenic print photograph. Tina is pictured here performing on stage in 1969 at New York City's Felt Forum, wearing a short fringed dress by Lori Lazaar, Paris. The photo was featured in Vogue Magazine in January of 1970. The photograph was hand-printed from Jack Robinson’s original negative in 2000 at the Jack Robinson Archive and Gallery darkroom in Memphis, TN. A C-print, also known as a C-type print or Chromogenic print, is a photographic print made from a color negative or slide. The color negative or slide is exposed to Chromogenic photographic paper (wet process paper) that contains three emulsion layers, each of which is sensitized to a different primary color. After the image has been exposed it is submerged in a chemical bath, where each layer reacts to the chemicals to create a full-color image. Because the chemicals are so complex, the image continues to react even after the process is completed. Very good condition. Measures 20 x 24. The photograph is hand stamped on the back, and comes with an embossed and stamped first edition book on Jack Robinson published in 2011 by Palazzo Editions in England. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
