Jim Davis — creator of the iconic “Garfield” comic strip — signed this letter and note card using a black felt-tip pen and a red felt-tip pen respectively. Davis began his work in illustration in 1969 and continues to draw to this day, inking numerous different cartoons as well as working in TV and animation. This letter is dated September 24, 1996, and is written to “Nat.” Very Good condition. Letter measures 8.5” x 5.5” and the note card measures 6” x 4.5”. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Certificates of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity for both pieces.
