Rolling Stones bass guitarist Bill Wyman's owned and played Eko 995 model violin bass guitar, serial number 331288. Crafted by the Oliviero Pignini company of Recanati, Italy. Eko was founded in 1959. The double-bound violin shaped hollow body is with spruce top and maple back and sides with a maple neck. It has a 21-fret fingerboard, nickel trapeze tailpiece, height-adjustable wood bridge with nickel saddles and dual F-holes. One of the 995's most intriguing aesthetic features is the square protuberance on its headstock with its "E" logo. The hyper-slim bolt-on neck has five-piece laminate construction in maple with wood stringers. The serial number is embossed on the neckplate. Original single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume and tune controls and a 3-way selector switch. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
