Tom Petty signed this copy of the August 8th, 1991, copy of Rolling Stone Magazine in which he is the photo using a blue fiber-tip marker. In an article entitled “The Second Coming of Tom Petty,” Rolling Stone details Petty’s resurgence in the charts after reconnecting with his band “Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers” to release their 1991 album “Into the Great Wide Open”. The subheader of the article reads, “After suffering through a period of personal crises and career doldrums, Tom Petty has reemerged as one of rock's most vital artists”. “Into the Great Wide Open” was the band’s first album together in two years after Petty had seen success as both a member of George Harrison’s “The Traveling Wilburys” and in his solo career. Very Good condition. Measures 10 x 12. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
