This is one of Chuck Berry’s iconic red Gibson guitars, that he played, owned and signed. The guitar comes directly from music producer Jon Ovnik, who has been in the music industry for over 30 years. Ovnik owns a guitar store in Chicago called Deaf Dog Music. Jon Ovnik worked with Chuck Berry on various sessions and after one, Chuck Berry gifted him the guitar he used. There is a picture of Chuck Berry signing the guitar in his studios after gifting the guitar to Jon. Afterwards, Jon got other famous artists to sign the guitar, such as Issac Hayes and B.B. King. Remarkable to find a guitar played by The Father of Rock N Roll, especially one with such history. Good condition, with good wear on the guitar. Comes with a letter of provenance and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
