Legendary American animator, illustrator, and cartoonist Walter Lantz signed this limited edition hand painted Woody Woodpecker animation cel recreating a scene from the raucous theatrical cartoon “Termites From Mars,” released in 1953. The original cartoon was not only produced but directed by Lantz as well. With a career in cartooning spanning from 1912 to 1994, Lantz was best known for founding Walter Lantz Productions and creating his iconic character Woody Woodpecker. 12 X 10. Framed 19.5 X 16.5.
