This long-sleeved white shirt, worn in competition, was produced by Le Coq Sportif and was worn by Maradona on March 29th, 1986, when for the first time ever, Maradona faced Napoli as a rival at the San Paolo stadium, shortly before the start of the world cup in Mexico. The match ended with a victory for Argentina. At the time, the team was highly criticized in Argentina, as they were unable to achieve easy victories. However, soon after this match, during the 1986 World Cup, history was written. Argentina has played few times in total white. The numbers, the AFA bade and the Le Coq Sportif logo are all the correct size and materials. The shirt has the proper measurements and tagging comparing with other match worn jerseys. The jersey originally came from an AFA member but in 1987, gave it to Argentina sports journalist Martin Castellano. Castellano sold it to a private collector and now it is up for sale once more. One of the best National jerseys you could buy. Comes with a letter of provenance and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
