American businessman and philanthropist William Vincent Astor signed this letter dated July 17, 1930 using a blue fountain-tip pen. The letter is typed and is a response to someone who requested his signature, which he happily obliged to. Astor was a member of the prominent Astor family and was highly interested in trains, developing the Bermuda Railway in the 1930s. Good condition. Measures 8.25” x 10.25”.
