Martin Van Buren — the 8th President of the United States of America — wrote this letter dated July 25, 1827 discussing politics and mentioning Republicans and Federalists, when serving as Senator, using black dip pen. Van Buren served as President from 1837 to 1841, and also served as the Governor of New York, the United States Secretary of State, and the Vice-President under Andrew Jackson during his political career. Very good condition with light visible fold lines. 7.75 X 10. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Letter of Authenticity.
