33rd President of the United States Harry S. Truman signed this letter of regret for not being able to attend and receive an award presented by the Affiliated Young Democrats of New York State. Truman served as the President from 1945 to 1953 and was instrumental in developing post-War international policy and helping rebuild Western Europe. The letter is dated March 8, 1957.
