Mama Cass owned and worn daisy flower pins. From the collection of renowned booking agent and promotional agent Irwin Pate. The late Irwin Pate, who passed away in May of 2018 had a roster of some of the most famous names in entertainment for over four decades. During his career, he and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Irwin knew Mama Cass Elliot, from the Mamas and the Papas, and worked with her on a few occasions in the 1960's. During one of their meetings Irwin told her about their collection, and she then gifted Irwin some items, including these pins, that she no longer wore. Very good condition. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Clarine Pate on Pate Entertainment, Inc. letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
