Madonna is pictured her performing at the New York City dance club "Danceteria", complete with backup dancers, in this early photograph taken in October, 1983. Taken by Charlene Martinez, with her name, the venue and the date handwritten in blue ballpoint pen on the verso. Measures 4 x 6, color. The photograph comes from Darlene Lutz, Madonna's art consultant who was also a long-time personal friend of Madonna’s from her innermost circle, and knew her for over 20 years. Very good condition. Comes with a letter of provenance and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
