Marilyn Monroe wore these denim jeans for the filming of her 1954 movie, "River Of No Return" in which she played the role of "Kay Weston." Her co-star on the film was Robert Mitchum. This pair is labeled (1-68-1-0444 M. Monroe A-713) on the inside front and is constructed with a button closure stamped "Foremost JCP Co." with three additional buttons, and designed with two cross-stitched back pockets. The jeans were auctioned off by Christies, New York in the 1999 "Personal Property of Marilyn Monroe" auction, and sold to the high bidder, fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger. Not long after the auction, Hilfiger gifted the jeans to Britney Spears during a photo shoot. From the most iconic blond bombshell to America's then sweetheart, these jeans have an incredible pop culture history! Excellent condition. Estimate: $60,000-$80,000.
