Offered here is Martina Navratilova’s owned & 1984 Lipton Tournament used Yonex racquet. The racquet is graphite, custom sized pro stock Yonex racquet. The racquet was obtained in the early 1990’s by former Tennis Professional Vince Schmidt. Vince Schmidt has been a tennis professional for over 30 years and runs the Jensen-Schmidt Tennis Academy for Down Syndrome with former tennis professionals Luke and Murphy Jensen. Through his playing and his academy, Schmidt has played with all of the biggest tennis professionals. Schmidt trained with Navratilova in the early 1990s in Florida. During their match, Navratilova got frustrated and smashed her racquet. She then gifted the racquet to Schmidt and told him this was the racquet she used during the 1984 Lipton Tournament. A very unique item. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Vince Schmidt and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
