One of the most recognizable and desired cards in the hobby is offered here, the classic '53 Topps Mickey Mantle, short-print card #82. Known for its attractive depiction of the Yankee legend, this baseball card bears a vintage artist rendering of a young Mantle poised to win his third World Series Championship in a row. This is one of Mickey Mantle's most important cards and one of two major keys, along with Willie Mays, to this popular Topps set. In 1953, Mantle was productive but still a few years away from becoming a superstar. He hit .295 with 21 home runs, 92 RBI and 105 runs scored. Mantle has signed the front of the card beautifully in black ballpoint pen. Signed versions of this card are a rarity!
