This "Indiana Jones in Hell" original painting by famed artist Marcus Boas measures 24 x 36 and is comprised of oil paint on board. Boas has signed and dated the painting on the bottom. This painting was featured both on the cover of "Indy III" the collector's edition and in the magazine's centerfold. Considered among the very best in fantasy illustration, Marcus has worked for a wide range of magazines from the horror favorite Castle of Frankenstein to the ever-popular Heavy Metal. He's also done movie posters and paperback covers, and even produced his own magazine, "Heroic Fantasy". This lot is accompanied by a "Heroic Fantasy" catalog that features this painting that has been signed and numbered by the artist.
