A UK vinyl pressing of The Beatles debut single "Love Me Do" which was released on 5th October 1962 that has been autographed on the A-side by Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr in blue ballpoint pen.
The autographs were obtained at the Grand Hotel, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England on the afternoon of 2nd March 1963, The Beatles were in the city to perform at the City Hall on the evening of March 2nd.
The record comes with a letter from the original recipient that reads ‘On the afternoon of 2nd March 1963, the date when The Beatles were due to play concerts in the evening at Sheffield City Hall, myself and a group of around 10 Beatles fans gathered outside the Grand Hotel in Sheffield. We rushed into the foyer where we found John, Paul, George and Ringo, we approached them and they agreed to sign autographs for all of us’.
