Offered here is one of Pele’s 1959 Brazil National Team home model jerseys. Short sleeves with the very rare “BRASIL” logo embroidered on the front. Also, with the URSA minor full hand embroided on the chest. CEPPO branded pure cotton model with the number 10 sewn on the back in white thick cotton tissue. This model of jersey was used during the famous Copa America Tournaments back in the late 1950s along with several other important cups. The jersey features underarm reinforcement with reinforced seams and a small pentagon of reinforcing fabric behind the collar, characteristics exclusive to match worn jerseys.

The jersey comes from the collection of a teammate of Pele’s who played alongside him in Brazil from 1957-1966. The jersey comes with a signed letter of authenticity from the player that can be requested to be shown by any interested bidder. One of the rarer models of jerseys, we would classify this as a must-have jersey for any serious collector. Photographs of Pele wearing identical jerseys throughout the late 1950s are shown to demonstrate when Pele wore this model of jersey. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Ex-Teammate of Pele and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
