Theodore Roosevelt has signed this original photograph in fountain pen.
The photograph also comes with an official White House letter which reads, My dear Sir: Your letter of recent date has been received and I send you the enclosed photograph, upon which the President has taken pleasure in placing his autograph, as requested”, dated March 26, 1902.
Theodore Roosevelt Jr., often referred to as Teddy or by his initials, T. R., was an American politician, statesman, soldier, conservationist, naturalist, historian, and writer who served as the 26th president of the United States from 1901 to 1909. Incredibly rare to find a signed photograph of him, especially with this level of provenance!
