Ramsey MacDonald Signed Photograph (UK Prime Minister 1929-35)

Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Ramsay MacDonald (1929-1935) has signed this original studio portrait mounted to a matboard. MacDonald was the first Prime Minister belonging to the Labour Party of which he was one of the principal founders. Accompanied by provenance dated 1932 from 10 Downing Street mounted on verso. Very good condition. Photograph measures 4 X 5.5 on a 7.5 X 10 matte. Very good condition. This lot comes from the extensive personal collection of a life-long collector of Historical, Entertainment and Sports artifacts and memorabilia. The collector has amassed a virtually unmatched collection that is one of the largest we have ever seen. This lot comes with a letter from Gotta Have Rock and Roll.com stating that it was sold in the Gotta Have History Winter Auction, February 16-25, 2022.
