Roberto Clemente Game Worn Professional Model Glove During the 1966 Season National League MVP & Gold Glove Award PSA/DNA

This MacGregor professional model KCX fielder’s glove was worn by the iconic Hall of Fame right fielder, Roberto Clemente during the 1966 season. The glove displays evidence of outstanding game wear. The pocket, face of the web and the full body of the glove display substantial wear. Clemente’s number “21” and “Clemente” appear on the back of the pinky finger sleeve in period black marker. The glove is accompanied by a letter from the original owner, who acquired the glove through Clemente’s urologist Dr. Richard Finegold M.D. He was good friends with Clemente, and was given the glove as gift from Clemente. During the 1966 Clemente hit. 317 with 29 home runs and 119 runs batted in. Clemente also won the National League MVP award during this season. This makes the glove extremely special, as it was worn during Clemente’s most iconic season. A serious rarity in the sports memorabilia collecting world.
