Stephen Hawking (1942-2018) - English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and author - scarce autographed and owned copy of Pink Floyd's 'The Division Bell'.

Thumb print to the record itself in black ink (Hawking's autograph was his thumb print). Supplied by its original owner who obtained the thumb print personally, and who has also annotated the record by way of provenance. “Autographs” from Hawking are exceptionally hard to come by.

The record was the personal property of Stephen Grocutt who was Stephen Hawking's personal full-time nurse for 2 years from September 2015 to 2017. All signings were witnessed by him or a close member of his medical team. Stephen Hawking appeared on The Division Bell, in 1994 on the song “Keep Talking”. Hawking's computerized voice begins by saying: "For millions of years, mankind lived just like the animals. Stephen also worked with pink Floyd before this on the album Endless River.

Very good condition.

Authentication: Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
