The Stone Temple Pilots is a rock band that formed in 1989 in San Diego, CA.. It originally consisted of Scott Weiland, brothers Dean and Robert DeLeo, and Eric Kretz, and the band's lineup remained unchanged until Weiland was fired in February of 2013. Their debut album, entitled Core, was released in 1992 and quickly became a major hit. Offered here is black-and-white Atlantic Records publicity photo showing the band, from left, Weiland, Robert DeLeo, Kretz and Dean DeLeo. All four members signed the photo in varying thicknesses of black markers.
