All four Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr have signed this photo clipping from the Mersey Beat in red ballpoint pen. The autographs were obtained by a fan who had clipped this picture of the Beatles receiving an award at the Mersey Beat Awards night, which took place at the Majestic Ballroom in Birkenhead on December 15, 1962. The fan affixed the news picture to an 8" x 6.5" album page. On the other side of the page the fan has rewritten the Beatles signatures in the order they appear on the picture and has also affixed a 1963 article by famed writer and poet Adrian Mitchell with an interview with the Beatles. Estimate: $3,000 - $4,000.
