The Beatles Signed 1980 Break-Up Contracts. Each Beatle has signed a one-page dissolution letter with Apple Corps. Limited dated March 5, 1980.

Four signed identical documents, signed by Paul McCartney in blue ballpoint pen, George Harrison in blue ballpoint pen and Ringo Starr (R. Starkey) in black felt-tip marker.

John Lennon's signature is deemed a facsimile signature. Each document has also been signed by Neil Aspinall on behalf of Apple Corps, Limited.

Since the "Beatles” partnership was disbanding, the right to market the Beatles (both as a group and its individual members) needed to be passed to a new entity- and that entity was Apply Corps. Ltd. The importance of the documents is high as it assigns the Beatles name and the individual Beatles likenesses to Apple Corps Limited - this was important as the Beatles' partnership was dissolving and a new entity was needed to monetize the Beatles going forward.

Although short, the substance of these documents is of high importance.

Dimensions: Each page measures 8.5 x 11.

Condition: Excellent.

Authentication: Letter from Beatles handwriting expert Frank Caiazzo and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
