The Beatles Signed "Romance Show" Magazine from 1964 World Tour, Netherlands.

This June 1964 "Romance "Show" Danish magazine from the Beatles 1964 World Tour, when they were in The Netherlands, is signed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Jimmy Nicol, who sat in for Ringo Starr during 8 shows of their historic 1964 world tour. George has added an inscription "Margaret love from...".

Signed in blue ballpoint pen.

When Beatles drummer Ringo Starr became ill with tonsillitis and was hospitalized on June 3, 1964, the eve of the Beatles' 1964 Australian tour, the band's manager Brian Epstein and their producer George Martin urgently discussed the feasibility of using a stand-in drummer rather than cancelling part of the tour. Martin suggested Jimmie Nicol as he had recently used him on a recording session, as well as on an extended play single (with three tracks on each side) of Beatles cover versions (marketed as 'Teenagers Choice' and titled Beatlemania) which meant that he already knew the songs and their arrangements.

The cover of the magazine is a Gloria Stavers color photo of the band (with Ringo) frolicking in the water in the Bahamas during shooting of their film "HELP!".
