Chris Hillman has handwritten and signed this letter on his music company "Bar None" letterhead and has hand-addressed the original Bar None envelope as well. The two page letter, measuring 8.5 x 11 and dated January 20, 1987, and the envelope, post-dated on the same date, are handwritten in black felt tip pen. Hillman has written a very personal letter to a very close friend. Accompanied by a small 4 x 5.5 get well note-card that is signed and inscribed in purple ink as well as a 3 x 5.5 news article regarding Hillman, most likely clipped by the person who had received the letter and card.
