This is a 2001 Tom Brady New England Patriots Jersey. The Adidas size 46 jersey bears the Brady nameplate in blue tackle lettering and his number “12” in three color tackle twill on the front and back. The number “12” on either sleeve appears to have replaced a former number. Size and manufacturing tagging on the lower front tail are appropriate for the year. Brady’s legacy began when he took over for the injured quarterback Drew Bledsoe in the later stages of the second game of the season. The Patriots went on to win eleven of the fourteen games that Brady started during the season.

In the postseason, Brady led New England to win their first Super Bowl in a victory over the favored Rams to become the youngest quarterback to win a Super Bowl. The characteristics of this jersey suggest that it was quite possibly among the first prepared and worn by Brady early in the season or preseason

Worn condition.
