Van Halen was one of the most popular rock bands in history. Formed in 1973 in Pasadena, California, through their last studio album release in 2012, Van Halen was a commercial success in every way. Their album 1984, released the same year, was a huge success with U.S. sales of 10 million copies and four successful singles. Its lead single "Jump" was the band's only No.1 single on the Billboard Hot 100.
From 1974 to 1985, Van Halen consisted of eclectic guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen (Eddie’s older brother), lead vocalist David Lee Roth, and bassist and vocalist Michael Anthony. Offered here is a black-and-white 8” x 10” photo showing those four band members (from left to right: Eddie, David, Michael and Alex) posing on steps. The photo has been signed by Eddie, David, and Alex in fine-point blue marker.
