This flamboyant ensemble was worn by Elton John on stage, and includes a stylized bright purple tailcoat (size medium) in 100% Laine wool. Also included are a tri-colored red, purple, and orange long-sleeved shirt, (size large), in a silky material by German fashion designer Dirk Bikkembergs, and long pants in 100% rayon with elastic waistband, in a tropical print of orange, green and purple. The ensemble was created by internationally renown Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto. The tailcoat has one pin-size hole in the left arm but otherwise is in excellent condition. Originally obtained from the Dick Clark auction in 2006. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
